Ms. Zhao finished her Master of Mathematic, Statistics, and Computer Science degree at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in December 1999. She has been working as a User Support Specialist/System Administrator for Department of Preventive Medicine, Northwestern University since April 2000. Ms. Zhao has been Dongfang parent since the year 2006 and started as a parent volunteer since the year 2009.
